How is Guest different from Free?

Guest — 10 stories total without registration. Free — 10 stories per day after registration and email confirmation.

How do I subscribe?

Prices above are in USD. Secure checkout (Paddle) is rolling out in the app and on the website. Guest and Free are available now.

Can I use WhisperEar for free?

Yes. Guest includes 10 stories in total with no account. Free includes 10 stories per day after you register and confirm your email. Paid plans are optional if you want unlimited listening.

Are my coordinates sent anywhere?

No. Your location stays on your device. The app uses it locally to find nearby places from map data and to decide when to suggest or play a story. It is not uploaded to WhisperEar to track your movements.

Do I need to keep the screen on?

No. Walk mode is meant for pocket use. While you move, the app may need background location permission (on Android) so it can refresh nearby sights without you touching the screen. Playback can still be controlled from notifications where the system allows.

Which countries are supported?

You can use WhisperEar worldwide wherever you have connectivity or offline coverage. We are not tied to a fixed catalog of cities: the app relies on global open map data (OpenStreetMap) and works wherever that data exists.

Which languages are guides available in?

Narration is available in nine languages: English, Russian, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Choose your preferred language once in the app settings (voice / narration language); new stories are generated in that language.
